Jacqueline Fernandez has been roped in to perform for the closing ceremony of the Indian Premier League on May 27 to be held in Mumbai. The actress has also been a part of the opening ceremony of the cricketainment where she danced to her hit numbers including ‘Tan Tana Tan’ and ‘Lift Teri Bandh Hai’ from her blockbuster film Judwaa 2.

According to sources, “Jacqueline is the only actress to have been roped in for both the opening and closing act of IPL. Not only does she have several hit songs to her credit, she is also high on energy and known for her moves, that’s the reason she is sought after. Now, she will be grooving to her latest number ‘Heeriye’ from Race 3.”

There are also talks of her performing a medley to her other popular tracks. “Till date Jacqueline has 19 hits that include ‘Chittiyan Kalliyan’, ‘Jumme Ki Raat’, ‘Sooraj Dooba Hai’ and ‘Sau Tarah Ke’. Discussions are on to create a new musical piece that will weave all these songs together. A final call will be taken in a day or two about it,” adds the source.

The actress will not only perform on the ground but also will also be part of the two-hour TV show Cricket Final Party Toh Banti Hai where she will be seen talking about cricket with Salman Khan promoting their upcoming movie Race 3 and also shake a leg to their song.

With Race 3 coming up, Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen recreating the Kick magic with Salman Khan. The pair garnered immense love from the audience, so much so that Sajid Nadiadwala has already cast the duo in Kick 2. Produced by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani under the banner of Tips Films, Race 3 is directed by Remo D’souza and will hit theatres on Eid 2018.

Not just that, Rambha, like many actresses from Bollywood was not only thrilled with the news but also shared it on social media. The actress shared a picture of her posing with the baby bump and even captioned it beautifully.

Having acted with actors like Salman Khan and Govinda, Judwaa has been one of the most remembered performances of the actress. She played the role of Prem’s love interest in this Salman Khan starrer. It was reprised by Taapsee Pannu in the remake of Judwaa 2.

Besides that Rambha is also known for films like Bandhan, Gharwali Baharwali, Beti No. 1, Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani among others. The actress has acted in over 50 films in languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and also Kannada.

On the personal front, Rambha tied the knot with Indrakumar Pathmanathan in 2010 and is a mother to two daughters Laanya and Sasha. While her marriage was considered to be in rocks in 2016, the duo later decided to arrive at a consensus and live together. And the now happily married actress decided to share this good news with fans on Instagram!

While she essayed important roles in TV serials like Diya Aur Baati Hum and Ikkyawann, now actress Prachi Tehlan is all set to make her debut down South. And guess who will star alongside her in her first film? Malayalam megastar Mammootty! Furthermore, the film in question is a period movie titled Mamankam.

Confirming the same, Prachi Tehlan spoke to the media expressing her excitement about working with a veteran like Mammootty. She maintained that she can’t reveal much about her role or the film but stated that it is a wonderful experience. Prachi also asserted that it is the most expensive Malayalam film ever made.

As mentioned before, Mamankam is said to be based on a different time period. The film is set against the backdrop of a medieval fair of the 17^th century that is celebrated every 12 years from 800 AD to 1755 AD. While this is Prachi’s first film down South, the actress has already ventured into other regional films like Punjabi.

On the other hand, megastar and national award winning actor Mammootty has worked with many Bollywood actresses like Juhi Chawla, Katrina Kaif among others and the recent one being with Huma Qureshi. The actress made her Mollywood debut with White which released in 2016.

Interestingly, Mammootty’s son Dulquer Salmaan, on the other hand, is making his Bollywood debut this year with Karwan. He will also feature alongside Sonam Kapoor in the latter’s next The Zoya Factor.
